Marc Anderson represents clients in matters involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, products liability, and insurance bad faith. Marc’s recent results include settlements of more than $21 million for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists struck and injured by automobiles, a client seriously burned in a propane explosion, and a premature baby who is blind because of a hospital’s negligence. He was honored to represent seven clients who were the victims of a neurosurgeon who is now in prison for Medicare fraud. He recently argued an appeal in California’s Second District Court of Appeals addressing the issue of what duties a drug treatment facility owes to its residential clients. He currently serves on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the complex litigation regarding the February 2015 Oxnard Metrolink Train Crash.
Marc has tried cases in California’s state and federal courts. He represented the surviving parents in a wrongful death dependent adult neglect trial in Ventura County that resulted in a $2,000,000 jury verdict and $500,000 attorney fee award.
He is the Vice President of the Ventura County Bar Association and a Past President of the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in December 1994. He has represented injured people his entire 25-year career.
Marc and his wife, Kristi, have two children, Bodie and Libby. Marc enjoys reading, sailing, running, mountain biking, and camping.
