Our Community Involvement

At The Law Offices of Hiepler & Hiepler, we feel fortunate to be involved with so many worthy causes across California. Social responsibility is something that is important to everyone at our office, and we feel compelled to do our part to participate in a variety of causes that mean so much to us. Read below for more details on some of the causes we are involved with:

6,590 meals this year

We are proud to provide 16 meals per day in Ventura, as well as 250 meals per year in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.

Local Sports

Our firm has been a proud sponsor of numerous youth, high school and university athletic programs throughout California.

Scholarships to 6 schools

We provide thousands of dollars in scholarships each year to grade schools, universities and law schools.

Providing Meals To Front Line Workers

Giving back to our community by providing meals to the hungry is something we are proud to do. Annually, we provide 6,590 meals throughout communities in Southern California. In 2020, we were grateful to have had the opportunity to help front line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hiepler & Hiepler provided 1,400 meals to St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital of Camarillo, St. John’s Hospital in Oxnard, the Camarillo Police Department and the Union Rescue Mission.

Actively Supporting Local Sports Organizations And Teams

Mark Hiepler has sponsored and coached more than 25 youth basketball teams in our community. In addition, our firm supports numerous high school sports programs throughout California annually. The photo on the right shows a 2018 Athletes in Action summer basketball team, which Hiepler & Hiepler sponsored, visiting Dodger Stadium.

Pepperdine University Law School Dinner

Hiepler & Hiepler is proud to support and sponsor the annual Pepperdine Law School Dinner for over 25 years. Recently, Mark Hiepler was honored to conduct a 40-minute interview with United States Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. Mark Hiepler and Justice Alito have worked together personally for years on a program that has given over 500 8th graders the opportunity to tour the Supreme Court and ask questions of Justice Alito. In the photo on the bottom left, Mark Hiepler was honored to present student and faculty awards at the 2018 dinner alongside Federal Judge Jennifer Dorsey. Oaks Christian School – Tedx Event

For 8 consecutive years, Hiepler & Hiepler has been the lead sponsor of Tedx at Oaks Christian School, where more than 1,500 students attend the annual event.

Scholarship to Schools

Hiepler & Hiepler provides scholarships each year to grade schools, universities and law schools across California. One of these schools is Trinity Lutheran Elementary School in Hawthorne, California, pictured below. Mark Hiepler is an alumnus of the school and is honored to speak to and take questions from middle school students at the school’s annual Career Day.
